San Francisco, CA- Bank of America has been using FileNet's document imaging product for a number of years and across multiple locations. The Corporate group at Bank of America early on decided on using Softech's Document Transfer Facility (DTF) product. Specifically, DTF import features were used to import large volumes of documents from several external systems and scanning vendors into the FileNet systems. The configuration was very straight forward, allowing backfile conversion and scanning of documents into a remote (shared) drive, and high-speed importing of documents into the FileNet systems. Additionally, Bank of America decided to use the DTF product to export loan portfolio documents for loan sale transaction.
As the real estate business expands, Bank of America Mortgage division also needed to import high volume of data into their FileNet system on a daily basis. Due to the time-sensitive nature of the refinance and new loan businesses, BofA Mortgage needed a reliable and robust import utility to quickly incorporate loan documents into its system. DTF was recommended to BofA Mortgage from BofA Corporate group. Softech consultants worked with BofA Mortgage technical staff to run evaluation and benchmark tests. The out-of-the-box product met all the requirements requested by BofA Mortgage staff.
As a result of several successful implementations and expanded use of the DTF product, Bank of America is a reference account for Softech's. BofA has recommended DTF product to several other financial institutions.
